Our Soy Candles are made from 100% soy wax, which is hydrogenated soybean oil. It was invented in 1992 by Michael Richards who was looking for a cheaper alternative to beeswax. As he entered the candle industry he realized there was a growing demand for natural wax candles.
Soy wax lends itself to mixing with fragrance to produce scented soy candles. Because it melts at a very much lower temperature than paraffin wax, candles burn about 3 times longer.
Benefits of using our Soy Wax
- Completely Renewable
- Eco-friendly

Tips
- Keep the wick trimmed to 1/4 inch and never let matches, wick trimmings or other foreign materials fall in the wax pool.
- To achieve the most from your candle always allow a full wax pool to reach the outer edge of the candle before extinguishing. In some cases this could take up to 2 hours.
- To avoid smoke from the carbon in the wick always extinguish your candle with a Wick Dipper
